Care
Put it on last, after perfume and lotion have dried. Take it off for swimming and hot showers. Store flat so the snake chain does not kink.

Longer than copper-based fashion jewellery, though there is no fixed number and we will not invent one. The steel underneath does not corrode; what wears over time is the plated colour on top, and how fast depends on exposure to water, perfume, and humidity.
Is it real gold?
No. It is gold-tone plating over stainless steel — artificial jewellery, also called fashion or imitation jewellery. You get the look of gold at a small fraction of the price, on a base metal that does not corrode.
